Blog Tour: Curiosity Killed The Kat: Book 1 (A Katherine Flynn Novel)

Genre:
Romantic Suspense

Format:
E-Book

Publisher:
Bristlecone Books

Release Date:
June 2012

Katherine (“Kat”) was the perfect wife. She did everything her husband Steve Flynn asked of her from what she wore to their sex life. As long as she remained obedient, Kat and Steve were happy, or so she thought.

Thanks to Steve’s dominance over her, Kat’s relationship with her mother became virtually non-existent, she had no friends of her own and basically allows herself to be degraded in the bedroom. Kat is perfectly happy living this way until she uncovers and evil plot headed by her husband. When she discovers he’s in charge of human trafficking, her world crumbles around her. Her own life is in danger from the man she thought she loved. She quickly pulls herself together and takes back her life, but is she too late?

Talk about a fast-paced book – I read this book in one sitting. It’s the first book of a series and a very quick read. I absolutely could not put this book down, I had to know what secrets Kat would uncover and where they would lead. While Kat starts out being a slave to her husband, she grows right before the reader’s eyes and becomes a strong, independent woman. She’s someone the reader will care about and cheer. I will definitely be reading the next book which is already out.

Note: There are a couple of explicit sexual scenes. So if that bothers you, this might not be a good read for you.

About The Author

Elizabeth wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills and relationship techniques have helped hundreds of others find their mojo. After earning a master's degree in secondary education from UNC, she worked abroad teaching English, bar-tended at late night clubs in Chicago, and continues various philanthropy projects that focus on empowering women. But she always returned to writing.

Though she'll forever be a free-spirit at heart, she now lives in Los Angeles with her two dogs. If she's not working on her latest sexy story, you can find her reading, watching reality television, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rock concerts.

  4. This sounds suspenseful and I am glad you shared because sadly I would have dismissed it solely on the cover, it is awful.
